Nagaon: On the occasion of International Drug Abuse and Illegal Trade Prevention Day, district police officials ritually destroyed large amounts of drugs and other drug substances worth 15 rupees at Barhampur Stadium on Sunday.
Destroyed drugs and other drug substances have been confiscated by Nagaon police from drug dealers and other merchants in the district in the past few months, according to sources from district police officials.
Police overseer Nagaon Lina Dolly and additional police overseer (headquarters) Dhruba Bora have begun the entire program and destroyed the drug, sources added. , 63,880 tablets, 7,948 bottles of cough syrup, 35.741 kilograms of cannabis.
