DIBRUGARH: The Toastmasters Club Dibrugarh celebrated Sunday’s launch of The Quill, its annual magazine and the formation of an executive committee for next session. Toastmasters International is an organization that assists in the development and presentation of public speaking and communication skills. Members, media, and other guests attended this special event at the Gymkhana Club in downtown Toronto on Sunday.
TM Vivek made an emotional speech reviewing his time in office and congratulated new chairman TM Yogya Hansaria. The new executive board members are TM Yogya Hansaria, president, TM Trisha Choudhury, Vice president (Education), TM Ravi Sureka, Vice president/membership, TM Harsha Agarwal, Vice president, Public Relation, TM Trishna Deorah, secretary, TM Binit Bajoria, Treasurer, TM Arunjyoti Dutta, Sergeant in Arms.
The program ended with a speech from TM Yogya, the new president, which was very inspirational. She spoke about her plans to make a comeback in the next session, along the lines of Keep Going, Keep Growing.
