Jayanta Mallabaruah was replaced by Margherita.
He is currently an MP in Rajya Sabha.
Margherita serves as the Assam BJP spokesperson since 2014. Before that, he served as Prabhari for Social Media Cell (Assam BJP) and Zila Prabhari for Kamrup North District BJP.
Margherita was the Chairman of Jyoti Chitraban (a film studio in Guwahati) from 2107 until 2021.
