Two men stabbed to death a Vastu expert from Karnataka, Chandrashekhar Guruji, in open public at a Hubballi hotel. Special teams were formed to catch the killers and both have now been arrested, police said.
Two men pose as devotees in horrifying CCTV footage while waiting to be called by Chandrashekhar Angadi, the exponent of “Saral Vaastu”. After settling down in a chair one man touches him to ask for blessings, while the other begins stabbing him with his knife that was hidden in a piece of white cloth. He was writhing in pain as he attempted to defend himself against the two killers who continued stabbing him with knives repeatedly throughout his body.
A woman receptionist is shocked by the brutal attack and runs off. Several others take some time to assess the incident. Several hotel employees attempt to confront the attackers, but they are threatened by the murderers who point knives at them.
In less than a minute, all the action is complete. They quickly flee, with a knife in their hand.
Chandrashekhar Angadi was a resident of Bagalkote, but made a personal visit in Hubballi.
