Uttar Pradesh’s Prime Minister Yogia Ditianas today shared a photo of her touching her mother’s feet when she put her hand on her head in a blessing.
Adityanas posted a photo on Twitter with her mother, Savitra Devi, with the caption “Ma”.
Currently in his hometown of Pauli, Uttarakhand, Adityanas has met his mother for the first time since he became Prime Minister of UP. He is visiting his ancestral village for his nephew’s hair Tonsure ceremony scheduled for Wednesday.
It is the first time in 28 years that Adityanas has reportedly returned to Uttarakhand to attend a family event rather than an official engagement. During the pandemic, the Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh was also unable to attend the funeral of his father in Haridwar in April 2020.
