Bihar Prime Minister Nitish Kumar today, after incorporating the views of all parties, his government soon launched a caste census, supporting opposition leader Nitish Kumar’s request and renewing his ally BJP. He said he would express his support.
He said the caste census all-party convention is tentatively scheduled for May 27.
“We will convene a party-wide meeting to incorporate everyone’s views on the caste-based census. The proposal will then be submitted to the state cabinet. With some parties on the 27th (May) meeting. We talked, but we are waiting. The Prime Minister told reporters that after the final decision, the proposal will be submitted to the Cabinet and work will begin. “
“We have begun discussions with all parties. No one is in attendance. We are waiting for their response,” said Nitish Kumar.
The Prime Minister reportedly acted after RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav threatened to take control of the campaign on a march to Delhi. Nitish Kumar reportedly met him soon and shared the state’s caste census roadmap.
