The sons of Shrikant Shinde, Shiv Sena MP, and Maharashtra’s rebel MLA Eknath Shinde today claimed the legitimacy of the faction led by his father. Asked about real and fake Shiv Sena in an exclusive interview with Bibarud, he said, “Today, I think there are more than 50 MLAs under the leadership of Cinder Saheb. Everyone says we are still in Shiv Sena. . Belonging to Shiv Sena. “
In a Supreme Court petition, Eknath Shinde said the Maha Vikas Aghadi Alliance in Maharashtra had lost a majority as 38 of its 55 members of Shiv Sena withdrew their support for the coalition.
Cinde leaders say they call themselves “Shiv Sena Barasaheb Thackeray” and claim the party’s symbol. The Thackeray faction has already taken a preemptive move, in opposition to writing a letter to the election committee.
Thackeray claims that at least 20 MLAs camping with Mr. Cinde are opposed to the merger with BJP and are in contact with Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeley.
“The truth has won,” Shrikant Sinde said of the Supreme Court’s bailout on disqualification notices to 16 rebels.
