TAMULPUR: The 5th Annual Baykho Puja was celebrated with an all-day program at Jamuguri in the Tamulpur district. The puja program began at 7 am on Tuesday. The flag of religion was raised by the President of the Celebration Committee, Raviram Labai.
The saplings were planted at 8 am. The religious seminar was held at 10 am under the supervision of Mazhab Chandra Mule. The seminar was started by Suren Rabha, President of Rabha Sahitya Sabha in the undivided Baksa district. Rabha Kristi was exhibited from 3 pm. The cultural program was started by MCLA Bijit Gaura Narjary. The program ended with a candlelight ceremony.
