NAGAON: A mobile library was inaugurated in his honor at the college’s premises in celebration of the 99th birthday of Assamese litterateur Sahityacharya Mobi Bora (autonomous).
The college principal, Dr Sarat Bokatoki, inaugurated the library at an event to commemorate the 99th anniversary of Assamese litterateur.
In association with Sankardev Chora and the College’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell, the Department of Assamese organized the programme. The programme was chaired by Dr Ram Prasad Porel (Vice Principal of the college), and Dhanada Devi (Head of the Department of Assamese) anchored it. The college’s teachers and students paid tribute to Mohim Bora by placing flowers in their classrooms.
The library was inaugurated at Bangthai, near Bebejia/Dimou. After that, 40 books were distributed by the college to the residents.
