Civil servant Rakı may be subject to a Dear Allowance (DA) increase announced next month, July 2022. DA is announced twice a year in January and July.
It is speculated that rising retail inflation could allow the government to take that into account in the July 2022 DA amount.
DA announcements are usually made in March and September each year. However, from December 31, 2019 to a year and a half, the coronavirus pandemic did not raise or change the DA amount.
The Treasury has suspended the DA increase from January 2020 to June 30, 2021 due to a pandemic. DA hiking resumed in July last year.
