DIBRUGARH – Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), organized Tuesday’s first industrial meeting on Environment Management System, in association with Pollution Control Board of Assam (PCB), at the BCPL campus.
Van Mahotsav 2022 was celebrated by Dr Arup Kumar misra, Chairman of PCB Assam and Dr Shantanu Dutta, member secretary. Delegates from 25 top PSUs as well as private sectors participated in this meeting to address environmental issues and discuss the future. The meeting was attended by prominent industry figures such as Bibhu Bhuyan Managing Director of APGCL Prasanta Bolkakoty RCE of Oil India Limited Duliajan Rajnesh Gogoi Managing Director of Assam Petrochemicals Limited Gautam das, CGM of ONGC Assam Asset BhupendraGoswami CGM of NEEPCO
Reep Habarika, Managing Director at BCPL, Prithiviraj Desh, Director Finance, BCPL, and senior BCPL officials were also present. This meet had the main purpose of promoting best practices in environmental management, and helping to overcome different obstacles. Further, on the occasion, the fourth edition of the souvenir Envicare & quot; was formally released by the chief guest along with Managing Director, BCPL. BCPL’s Environment Department publishes the souvenir, which promotes awareness and conservation of environment among all stakeholders.
