Assam: Three of the three accused escape from Dhakuakhana police custody

Guwahati: The rape and murder of an accused together with two others fled police custody in Dhakuakhana.

The accused persons who were supposed to be presented in front of the court escaped from the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate’s Court before the case hearing.

The police failed to capture the suspects despite their best efforts.

Raju Baruah (alias Garja) and Jatin Timuli and Sunti Die were the names of those accused.

The two ran to the bathroom in the courthouse, then leapt out of the window and fled.

Garja is now free from police custody for only the second and final time in less then a year.

Even though he was wounded by a bullet, he managed to escape from Lakhimpur hospital.
