LAKHIMPUR – On Sunday August 14, the Lakhimpur unit of Hindu Yuba-Chatra Parishad was observed as Akhanda Bharat Divas by Asom (HYCPA).
A day-long program was held in the office of the HYCPA central committee general secretary Madhav Das in North Lakhimpur. It began with lighting ceremonial lamps, paying floral tributes to Madhav Das (HYCPA central committee general secretary) and Jugmajyoti dutta (Lakhimpur district president). Jugmajyoti Das, a prominent citizen and officer bearer of the organization, was in charge of the public meeting that was organized for the occasion.
Jugmajyoti Das, Madhav das, and other participants spoke on behalf of the nation. They expressed regret for the nine-part ‘Bharat Mahdesh’ split during the time period 1876-1971.
This programme was created to spread the message about strengthening India’s integration and creating awareness against separatism.
