As heavy rain kilos Mumbai and different areas in Maharashtra, a landslide was reported at Chiplun in Ratnagiri district, about 300 km from the state capital. Following the downpour, a tree fell on a home in suburban Ghatkopar, inflicting a wall to break down.
The home at Panchsheel Nagar in Ghatokpar was severely broken after a tree fell on it. Fireplace engines reached the spot for rescue work and no casualties have been reported but, the hearth division mentioned. Visuals on social media confirmed the broken home as residents tried to get well family home equipment.
The landslide in Chiplun’s Parshuram Ghat was caught on digicam. A video clip confirmed boulders rolling down a hillock onto a highway.
Visitors motion on the Mumbai-Goa freeway needed to be suspended yesterday following the landslide late on Saturday evening.
The climate division has issued an alert for heavy rain in Maharashtra’s coastal Konkan area for the following 5 days.
