Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal was occupied by a man accused of selling chickens on paper with images of Hindu deities and attacking police officers.

According to the Indian news agency Press Trust of India, Talib Hussain sold chicken in his shop from a piece of paper with a photograph of a Hindu goddess and god. This incident occurred on Sunday.

According to Press Trust of India, Talib Hussain, an attacker who allegedly had the intent to murder, attacked a team of policemen at his shop with a knife.

Talib Hussain is being charged in accordance with IPC Section 153-A [promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence], 295-A [deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs] – 307 [attempt to murder].
