According to locals, heavy rains have recently flooded the River Nore, flooding these areas. As a result, the June 16 flood also washed away the bridge on the road connecting Begri to Mekenzitorpatal, completely blocking important communication links. After that, Circle Officer Kaberi Lampipi visited areas such as Begri, Luptal, and Balipara and instructed the relevant authorities to rebuild Takebashi.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary P Uday Praveen also monitored the situation and urged authorities in all Udalgri departments to take immediate action in the flood-affected areas.
