DHUBRI: Six individuals had been allegedly concerned in extorting cash from every trucker carrying rice from the godown of Meals Company of India (FCI) situated in ward no 16 of Dhubri city on Monday. After having acquired the grievance about unlawful assortment of cash from the truckers, Dhubri police swung into motion and apprehended six individuals.
They’ve been recognized as Sanjib Kr. Das (55), Lakman Akond (71), Jahidul Rahman (48), Raj Ahmed (55),Anowar Akond (40) and Nur Mahammad (42).
