NCHAC CEM Debolal Gorlosa launches a series of projects at Dima Hasao

HAFLONG: Debolal Gorlosa, CEO of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), was recently completed by various departments on Friday, including members of NCHAC’s Hangrum and Laisong in Dima Hasao, about 80 km from Haflong. Started a series of projects.

In Ryson, a bridge connecting the villages under the three components of Ryson, Hangram and Zinham has been opened. This 50-meter span bridge over the Jinham River, built by the disabled in Mahdi Bison, was built at the cost of Rs. Rs. 292 million is funded by NABARD’s RIDF-XXIV under the Mahavir Lachit Chilarai Setu Nirman Abhiyan project.

A dormitory called Hanskiaki in Gemenaga was opened in Hegyleua. This dormitory was built under special package 2020-21. In the village of Bamdi in Ryson Bagan, a market hut was opened, followed by a veterinary guesthouse in the village of Hezaichak. A guesthouse named after Padma Bhushan Rani Gaidinliu Memorial Guest has also been opened in Hezaichak.

At a public meeting, CEM said infrastructure development, such as the construction of roads and bridges, was a major achievement. The Jinam Valley has always been one of the toughest terrains in the Dimahasao district, and lack of adequate roads and infrastructure often hinders the timely implementation of government plans. This development will allow villagers to sigh with relief and commute to close the town in less time.

The program was attended by Chair Ranu Langthasa and executive members Nipolal Hojai, Paudaming Nriame, and other dignitaries.
