Bagaria’s relatives found him in bed and brought him to hospital. He was declared dead by doctors.
“It is too soon to make any comments on the case as it is still in a preliminary stage of investigation. The case might have been suicide-related, but we will be able to see the full picture once the postmortem report is in,” said Bitul Chetia (Additional SP, HQ).
Chetia revealed further that Bagaria was under threat by two individuals and police are looking into this possibility.
As a result of a conflict that has been going on for many years between Bagaria’s relatives and Baidullah, Khan’s family filed a complaint of abetment to suicide.
