Workshop organized to join the army at Gargaon University
SIVASAGAR: Gargaon College’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Career Counseling and Guidance Cell, in collaboration with 12 Assam Rifles, work on “Joining Armed” with the aim of raising awareness and motivating students to adopt the military as a career option. We held a shop. Army at Gargaon College on Thursday.
The workshop was started by Dr. Rina Handique, Vice-Principal of Gargaon College. In her inaugural address, Dr. Lina Handik talked about the importance of choosing the military as a career for her students. She also emphasized the different approaches and scopes for joining the Indian Army.
Maj Jonah Halam and Captain Bivash Biswas have been invited as resource persons for the program. Maj Jonah Halem gave a motivational speech to the students and gave various details about being hired by the military. In his deliberations, he talked about eligibility criteria and scope for joining the army. The army, the person can serve the country with honesty, determination and honesty. Captain Biswas motivated students to work towards joining the army to serve the country. The workshop ended with a fruitful exchange of students.
About 300 students from the university participated in the program. The workshop was coordinated by DrDilip KumarDeka, an associate professor of geography and coordinator of career counseling and guidance cells at Gargaon College.
