With a camera, a railroad policeman drags a woman out of a gap in a train platform

Yesterday, at Bhubaneswar Station in Orissa, a police chief of the Railroad Conservation Force (RPF) saved a woman’s life when she was about to be trapped in the gap between the platform and a moving train.

According to railroad officials, the entire incident was shot with a CCTV camera installed at the station.

The video shows a woman getting on and off a passenger train with other passengers as she leaves the station. However, she lost her balance and slipped into the gap between the station and the train.

RPF police officer S Munda at the station acted swiftly, dragging the woman out of the gap.

The video shows all three lying on their backs while a major accident is being avoided.
