Uddhav Thackeray Wanted To Rejoin NDA Last Year, Claims Team Eknath Shinde

Uddhav Thckeray Claims Team Eknath Shinde Wanted to Rejoin NDA In The Last Year

Uddhav Thackeray — the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra unseated by the rebellion of Eknath Shinde – wanted to rejoin the NDA last year, a leader from the rebel camp has claimed. This evening’s press conference was held in Delhi. Mr Shinde, party members in parliament and MP Rahul Shewale attended.

He said that the Shiv Sena has not officially left NDA. “We remain part of NDA.” Last year even Uddhavji agreed to join the BJP. This plan was canceled after the suspension of 12 BJP MLAs. Uddhavji responded to us when we proposed an alliance with BJP. Why don’t we try it now?

Shinde insists his party is the “real Sena”, and is not interested in a reconciliation with Thackeray. “We follow Balasaheb’s footsteps. “Let’s hope that everyone joins us in our future,” Shinde stated.

In a less obvious note, amid all the turmoil for control, he said, “Eknath Shide hasn’t become the party leader, (paksh pramukh), Eknath Sunde has become Chief Minister.”

Mumbai MP Mr Shewale has been appointed to a leadership role in the Sena separate group within parliament, which is aligned with Mr Shinde. Yesterday 12 members of parliament wrote Om Birla (Lok Sabha Speaker) to inform him about the group.
