Uddhav Thackeray Strips Rebel Ministers Of Portfolios

Uddhav Thacke strips portfolio rebel ministers

Faced with a massive rebellion at Shiv Sena’s rank, Maharashtra’s Prime Minister Uddhav Thacke has stripped a portfolio of nine rebel ministers. Among these nine are five ministers and four state ministers.

The responsibilities of these rebel ministers, who are currently stationed at Gwahati hotels with other rebel ministers, have been redistributed among other ministers so that “public welfare activities do not stagnate.” Said the order.

The portfolio of urban development and utilities, formerly the leader of the rebel group, Eknath Shinde, is now being handed over to Subhash Desai.

Rebel minister Gulabrao Patil has been stripped of water and sanitation charges. The portfolio has been handed over to Anil Parab.
