Haflong pays tribute to Manipur victim of the landslide.

HAFLONG – Assam Minister Nandita Gurlosa, Chief Executive Member, N C Hills Autonomous Council and Dima Hashoo Deputy Commissioner, paid tribute on Saturday to Balaram Sharma by placing a floral wreath in Haflong ‘Shradhanjali’

Sharma’s remains were flown to Haflong via helicopter from Manipur. His body was presented with a guardian of honor. His body was brought to Umrangsu.

Jawan Sharma was the son of Mayadevi Sharma and Bindu Sharma. In 2014, he joined the military.

With six family members, he left Ambica Poudel his wife. He was the youngest of his two sons.
