JAMUGURIHAT, Sept 2: Technical coaching on ‘Grafting Methods for Elevating Grafted Tomato Seedlings’ organised by the district agriculture workplaces of each Sonitpur and Biswanath districts underneath the APART (Assam Agri-business and Rural Transformation Mission) was held at Kachari Gaon, Sootea on Friday. The coaching was organised with an intention of accelerating manufacturing of brinjal and tomato via the pruning strategy of cultivation. The individuals overlaying each Sonitpur and Biswanath district agriculture workplaces had been imparted coaching by a workforce of consultants from World Vegetable Centre, Hyderabad and Guwahati department together with scientist Ravi Shankar and Arbin Upadhyaya respectively.

The workshop was attended by Dilip Gayan, agriculture officer of Sonitpur, Manoj Narzary, sub-division agriculture officer of Biswanath, Manash Jyoti Gogoi, agriculture improvement officer, Sootea improvement block, Shyamanta Bora and Durlav Bora, officers from APART Biswanath moreover individuals farmers.
