Nagaon: The prime minister, accused of arson at the Batadrova police station in the Nagaon district, died in a car accident early Monday. Police said the accused, identified as Ashicle Islam, tried to escape from the police car and was attacked by another police car. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
Nagaon police foreman Lina Dolly said the accident occurred in the Raidinya district around 2:30 am when she jumped from the car that Ashicle Islam was in and was attacked by another police car.
