DIBRUGARH: The first cattle ambulance in the northeast was launched by Dibrugarh Vice-Chairman Biswajit Pegu at Gopal Goushala in Dibrugarh. At that time, Dibrugarh Vice-Chairman Biswagit Peg said, “Thanks to the members of Dibrugarh Gopal Gushara for providing such an initiative. The cattle ambulance became the first ambulance service throughout the northeast. Serving sick and injured cows .. ”

“For the first time in the northeast, a cattle ambulance service has been launched in Dibrugarh to help sick cows,” Gopal Goushala president Nirmal Beria told reporters. “I had a lot of trouble getting the sick cows, lifting them up and taking them to the shelter, so I just thought about procuring an ambulance,” he said.

“We brought an ambulance from Ahmedabad. The ambulance is equipped with a hydraulic lift system that makes it easier to lift sick cows,” he added. In 2020, Goushala launched the first cattle hospital throughout the northeast. Goushala was founded in 1901. Since then, the barn has been constantly working to protect the safety of cattle.
