The curfew of Eid in Madhya Pradesh’s Calgone after the violence of Ramna Bami
A complete curfew was declared during Eid in Calgone, Madhya Pradesh, who saw joint violence in Ramna Bami last month. Eids can be celebrated on Monday or Tuesday. According to the district administration, both of these days are curfew.
“On May 2nd and May 3rd, a curfew will be imposed on Cargone. Eid prayers will be served at home,” said Summersin, an additional district security judge in Calgone. These days, he added, the store remained open and students going to the exam were given a pass.
“Also, events at Akshaya Tritiya and Parshuram Jayanti are not allowed in this area,” said Singh.
On April 10, 24 people were injured in Khargone when two groups collided during the Ram Navami procession. A man was killed during a joint clash and police chief Siddhars Chaudhary was shot dead.
Five people were arrested in connection with the killing of Ibris Khan in the Anand Nagar-Kapas Mandi region. A man was arrested for shooting a senior police officer. More than 150 people were arrested in connection with 64 joint violence cases filed across Calgone.
