Team Thackeray

Team Thackeray’s San Gairut was asked by the central agency for 10 hours

Parliamentarian Shiv Sena Sanjay Raut was asked today by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for nearly 10 hours in connection with the money laundering investigation.

Sanjay Raut arrived at the ED office in Ballard Estate, South Mumbai around 11:30 am. He left around 9:30 pm. After leaving, Laut announced that he would cooperate with the investigative agency.

“The agency’s job is to investigate. Our job is to cooperate with their investigation. I came because they called me today, and I continue to cooperate with the ED.” He told reporters.

The case concerns alleged fraud in the redevelopment of a housing complex named Patra Chawl. In April, ED also attached the property of his family in this case.

The question is in the midst of a state political crisis in which the Shiv Sena MLA faction rebels against party leader Uddhav Thacke. Eknath Shinde swore yesterday as Prime Minister of Maharashtra the day after Thackeray resigned from his post.
