Tamil Nadu moves to stop the spark political line of Mutt’s Palankin ritual

In Tamil Nadu, a political line was formed after the ritual of carrying the prophets of Mutt on a litter was denied permission.

Local officials have stated that the Dharmaplum Adinham tradition undermines human dignity and must not continue.

The order sparked protests from opposition parties, and AIADMK and BJP targeted the MK Stalin-led government in parliament. PK Sekar Babu, Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Donations, said Prime Minister Stalin would speak to mutt’s head.

State BJP chief KAnnamalai blamed the DMK government for the issue and said he would lift his litter himself if authorities did not allow the ritual.

Madurai Adheenam, the head of another mutt, also made a strong exception to the directive, saying he would lift his litter.
