Snake catcher rescues 13-foot long king cobra in Andhra Pradesh

On Sunday, a snake catcher rescued a 13-foot king cobra from an Andhra Pradesh palm oil plantation. The farmer found the snake and immediately contacted Bencatesh, the snake catcher who rescued the reptiles.

According to a tweet from DD News Andhra, the snake was on a farmer’s palm oil plantation near Ghat Road on Sunday. The news channel tweeted a photo of a snake catcher with a giant reptile.

In a subsequent tweet, he added that the farmers provided information over the phone to Bencatesh, a snake catcher who is a member of the Eastern Ghats Wildlife Association. Soon, Venkatesh arrived at the place and caught the King Cobra. Then he put the snake in a jute bag and carried away the reptiles.

One user was pleased that the reptiles were rescued rather than killed in fear.
