"Shot my grandmother": Facebook Texas Teen Shared School Shooting Plan

Texas school shooters shared plans to attack the school on Facebook about 15 minutes before firing, the governor said Wednesday, adding that the attacking weapon was the AR-15 assault rifle.

Governor Greg Abbott said at a news conference that the shooter shot his grandmother’s face before heading to elementary school, shooting 19 children and two teachers.

“The first post said,’I’m going to shoot my grandmother,'” Abbott said.

“The second post was” I shot my grandmother. ” The third post was “I’m going to shoot an elementary school”, probably within 15 minutes of arriving at school.

Facebook quickly released a statement after Abbott’s comment, stating that it was “a private one-on-one text message discovered after a terrible tragedy.”
