Shinde Government In Maharashtra May Collapse In 6 Months: Sharad Pawar

Sharad Pawar dissolves all units of party, days after Shiv Sena Coup

Sharad Pawar (President of Nationalist Congress Party) has dismantled all the departments and cell offices in his party immediately, according to a top NCP leader.

Praful Patel, NCP’s national general secretary, tweeted: “With the approval of Sharad Pawar (Nationalist Congress party), all department and cell units stand dismantled with immediate effect.”

The sudden action, three weeks following the fall of Maha Vikas Aghadi (or MVA) government in Maharashtra, was not disclosed by Mr Patel.

NCP was an important component of the Shiv Sena coalition government. It collapsed in June after a revolt against Uddhav Thackeray led by Eknath Shindu, a Shiv Sena MLA.
