Self-defence coaching for girls held at Biswanath Chariali

BISWANATH CHARIALI: A two-day lengthy self-defence camp on martial arts was organized from September 6 to September 7 right here for the self-defence of younger women and girls.

4 girls Assam Police personnel from the Veerangana Battalion imparted coaching within the camp held at Biswanath Chariali Stadium underneath the initiative of Biswanath District Police. Round 50 younger women and girls from throughout the district, together with the scholars of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Biswanath, underwent the coaching.

The coaching camp was formally inaugurated by Biswanath Superintendent of Police Naveen Singh whereas Extra Superintendent of Police Kulendra Nath Deka, Deputy Superintendent of Police Jayanta Baruah and others had been current on the event. The younger women and girls have been educated to guard themselves when they’re in peril.
