"Rs 20 Crore To Join, 25 Crores To Get Others": AAP's Charge Against BJP

Today the Aam Aadmi Party slammed Narendra Modi’s union government. It accused them of trying to overthrow Delhi’s government “by hook and crook.” According to the party, the BJP uses central investigative agencies against its leaders. In a press conference, five AAP senior leaders blasted the BJP for allegedly trying cash and threats to seduce AAP MLAs. The BJP has denied the charge and accused AAP of trying to “deviate and deflect” from questions around alleged corruption in the liquor policy for which Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was recently raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Sanjay Singh, AAP’s National Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP claimed that he would expose how PM Modi’s government uses central agencies to overthrow the government in Delhi.

“Efforts to break the MLAs of Delhi have begun,” he said, adding that the BJP tried a ‘Shinde’ on Manish Sisodia but the attempt failed.

He said that BJP members threatened AAP MLAs. He said, “They want to take our Rs 20 crore offer or they will face CBI cases such as Sisodia.”

Reacting to the charges by AAP, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said Mr Kejriwal’s party keeps releasing “trailers” but the “film” never arrives. They complain their party is falling apart. The BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said that although they had audio clips of the alleged BJP offer, the party wouldn’t release them and would wait until the “right time”. He said that they would continue doing it, calling this a smokescreen in order to avoid corruption accusations against Delhi ministers.
