Review: Despite Lanville’s spot-on-diction, Jayeshbhai Jordaar lacks a bite

Cast: Ranveer Singh, Charini Panday, Boman Irani, Zia Vidia, Ratna Pasak Shah

Director: Divyang Thakkar

Rating: Two and a half stars (out of five stars)

If Jayeshbhai Jordaar had responded to the claim that the second word in the title made, it would have been a complete winner. When Boliwood is faced with a series of recent southern super-hits loud, shy, and testosterone-led hero onslaught, a big fuss for him to become a man.

Played in a consistent fuss by uncontrollable Ranveer Singh, the hero in the name of Jayeshbhai Jordaar is not a stud pretending around the village to call himself constant attention. In fact, he is the exact opposite. He is good at fusing with the background.
