Rajnath Singh reveals that he wanted to join the army, even giving an exam. But…

Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister said today that he wants to join army but cannot due to his family’s difficulties.

Rajnath Singh addressed the Assam Rifles, and 57th Mount Division of Indian Army personnel in Imphal. He told them how he came to be examined for admission.

“I am sharing a tale from my childhood. Also, I was interested in joining the military and I applied for the Short Service Commission examination. I took the written exam. He said that I could not join the army because of some circumstances in my family including the loss of my father.

During their visit to Mantripukhri’s headquarters for the Inspector General Of Assam Rifles South, General Manoj Pande was with the minister. They met the troops.
