Rahul Gandhi takes a train to Udaipur for 3 days of Chintan Sybil
A train of parliamentary leaders and workers, led by Rahul Gandhi, departed for Udaipur today and participated in a three-day Chintan Sybil. It will discuss the most important leadership issues and the party roadmap for the next few days.
The mega-meeting will take place a few days after the party has had extensive discussions with election strategist Prasant Kishor, who gave a detailed presentation on the party’s resurrection.
Many leaders admit that the plan is good, and there is a lot of speculation as to whether Congress will adopt either idea.
Mr. Gandhi’s plans included the introduction of a non-Gandhi active president to deal with day-to-day problems while Sonia Gandhi remained leader. This plan was in line with an organized election scheduled for later this year.
With a huge section of Gandhi family supporters hoping for Rahul Gandhi to officially return as leader, and a section including the G-23 hitting non-Gandhi leaders, the Chintansibir debate is expected to catch the eye. Has been a weekend.
