Pulitzer for Danish Sidiki, the other three for Covid Deaths Pics in India
Winners of the Pulitzer Prize for Journalism, Books, Drama and Music 2022 were announced on Monday.
The list of winners included the Washington Post, including Indians Adnan Abidi, Sana Ilshard Matu, Amit Dave, and Reuters’ late Danish Sidiki in journalism.
Ukrainian journalists received the 2022 Pulitzer Prize special award, and judges of the highest honor of journalism reported the January 6 attack on the Capitol, withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the collapse of Florida’s surfside condominiums. Also admitted.
After his death, Reuters photographer Darnish Sidiki, along with Adnan Abidi, Sanna Ilshad Matu and Amit Dave, won the Pulitzer Prize for images of Covid’s tolls in India. Siddiqui was killed last year while reporting a clash between Afghan special forces and the Taliban rebels.
