Prime Minister Modi visits Assam today to launch several development projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam today to lay the cornerstone for several projects.

The Prime Minister will address the “Peace, Unity and Development Rally” at Dip in the Calbianron district around 11:00 am.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), during the program, Prime Minister Modi will also lay the cornerstone for various projects in the education sector.

The Prime Minister will also lay the cornerstones of the Veterinary College (Diphu), Bachelor’s University (West Karbi Anglong) and Agricultural College (Kolonga, West Karbi Anglong). These projects are worth more than Rs 50 billion and bring new opportunities for skills and employment in the region.

During the program, the Prime Minister will lay the cornerstone for more than 2,950 Amrit Surover projects. The state plans to develop these Amrit Surovers at a cumulative cost of approximately 1,150 rupees.
