Poachers cut off rhinoceros horns in Assam’s Orang National Park

The entire incident was reportedly revealed after a hornless rhino was found in Orang National Park, causing a panic among forest officials.

Reportedly, it previously appeared to be a case of a territorial dispute between rhinos. However, a veterinarian examined the rhino and found that it was not injured.

Some media reports suspect that the horns were cut off a few days before the rhino was calmed down.

However, the Forest Department has been shocked and, according to them, so far no such incident with this technique has occurred in the history of Oren National Park.

Meanwhile, relevant departments have launched a search to catch poachers.
