Parliamentary activist arrested for drugs by Daran police

MANGALDAI: Daran police acting chip-off on Saturday morning arrested a parliamentary activist for being involved in drug prostitution. The drug merchant was identified as Rahijudin Ahmed, 50, the son of Nasimdin Ahmed in the village of Kawadanga under the Dura Police Station in the Darang district. Police recovered a total of 23.13 grams of brown sugar, 11 empty plastic ampoules and a soap box from his belongings.
