Pak Drone was detected in Jammu and returned after border forces fired

Saturday’s Border Guard (BSF) fired several rounds after picking up a Pakistani drone move along Jammu’s International Border (IB), officials said.

The drone returned to Pakistan, but he said a major search was undertaken to confirm that there was no airdrop of the payload by flying objects.

“A drone from the Pakistani side was observed to flash light towards the Indian side of the Arnia region at 7:25 pm,” said BSF Deputy Inspector Jammu Frontier, SP Sandu.

He said vigilant BSF troops fired about eight rounds to shoot down the drone shortly after it crossed the Indian side, but managed to fly back.

A BSF spokeswoman, Sandhu, said a search was underway to ensure that the entire area was blocked and there were no drone airdrops.
