Orientation program for start-ups and entrepreneurs at Nagaon College

NAGAON: To promote a culture of startup and entrepreneurship, the Nagaon district administration will work with Startup Assam, NERAMAC and the Assam Agribusiness Growth Lab (AAGL) to hold a one-day orientation session on startup and entrepreneurship. It was held. Nagaon College on Friday.

The program was attended by more than 150 people from a variety of disciplines, including students, small business owners, SHG members, and agribusiness owners. Nagaon’s Deputy Commissioner Nisarg Hivare celebrated this opportunity as Chief Guest, with University Principal Dr Sarat Borkotoky, MD NERAMAC Manoj Das and MD Designate Rajiv Ashok attending as honorary guests.

Panelists at Startup Assam, AAGL, and NERAMAC emphasized different schemes and activities, explaining different stages of startup mentoring and entrepreneurship. Two successful entrepreneurs, Jolkuwori and Zerund Bricks, Dipankar Kashyap and David Gogoi, also shared the challenges they faced with their journey.

Overall, it was a good interactive session and the participants gave positive feedback. This was followed by a brief meeting with DC and other panelists at the circuit house to develop a future roadmap for the district.
