Meeting on the submission of a list of influential citizens in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: A meeting was held at the DC office conference hall on the submission of a list of influential citizens of Dibrugarh who have made significant changes or contributed to the revitalization of society in Dibrugarh.

The Prime Minister has begun the practice of communicating with key citizens in various districts of Assam by letter, email and telephone. For this reason, all district DCs submit a list of such influential persons.

In this regard, a committee was set up in Dibrugarh on May 19, and the meeting was held on Wednesday in connection with the submission of the list at the DC office conference hall.

The meeting will be held with Dibrugarh Vice-Chairman Biswagit Peg and District Development Committee Sanjoy Datta, School Inspector Shrimati Dipika Choudhry, Elderly Representative Shrimati Karpana Kwand, and Bar Council Representative Shuyamal Seal. Chaired.

The two key citizens who attended the conference provided information about the various influential people in Dibrugarh and at the same time provided valuable knowledge about the project. DC asked both representatives to search, investigate and submit a list of the major citizens of the Dibrugarh district that contributed to the uplifting of society and brought about certain changes.

The DC further said that the names of about 1,000 major citizens need to be included in the list, along with names, phone numbers, email IDs, addresses, and other details. In this regard, DC said Circle Officers also need to be aware of the orders.
