Lakhimpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra Holds Peasant Fair

LAKHIMPUR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Lakhimpur, in collaboration with the Agricultural Training Administration (ATMA), held a Farmers Fair on Tuesday at the KVK, Lakhimpur campus under the Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikata Hamari campaign.

The main purpose of the Farmers Fair is to educate farmers and extension workers about Bharatiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati and to organize exchanges between farmers and scientists, which is very necessary for millet, oil seeds and bio-enriched crops. It was to disseminate scientific information.

The event was congratulated by Lakhimpur Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer and DRDA Project Director Tripurendra Patar, ADC Geetali Duwara, District Agriculture Director Mohan Deka Baruah, District Veterinary Director Dr. Bhaben Kakoti, and Regional Chief Scientist Dr. Prabal Saikia. ..
