Kamrup DC Kailash Kartik N visits Lumpi’s Himalayan LP School

BOKO: During the ongoing Gunotsav 2022, Kamrup Vice-Chairman Kailash Kartik N visited the Himalayan LP School in Upper Lumpi, Boko, along the Assam-Meghalaya border on Wednesday.

As an external evaluator, the Deputy Secretary visited the school with ADC Rahul SJarir. The school is located in a remote area of ​​Harshanagar village in Upper Lampi. After arriving at the school, DC checked the school building, water supply facilities, and the school including the school building.

After that, DC taught the students and had lunch with them. The Himalayan LP School is the last border from Assam. The Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary discussed with locals and parents about issues with classrooms and water facilities at Himalayan Elementary School in Upper Lampi. He said the students were enthusiastic about education and as soon as the ME and high school disappeared in the Lumpi district, the proposals sent to the government by the Ministry of Education and the local government would be implemented.

DC visited Lumpi Himalayan Elementary School in Upper Lampi, walking about 2 km on the hilly road from the Harshanagar arterial road in Upper Lampi.
