IPS Anand Mishra injured in a car accident during the “Ride for Pride” rally

Mishra was reportedly found to have fallen off her motorcycle after colliding with a sudden cow in the middle of a highway near the Bagjona district of Jakrabanda.

Mishra was on his way from Kajiranga to Kaliaball with a team of Assam police at the time of the incident.

Meanwhile, IPS Anand Mishra, who is in charge of assistant inspector general, was immediately transferred to Jakarabanda Hospital for better medical care.

Assam police officials launched a bicycle rally named “Ride of Pride” on May 2nd to celebrate the important opportunity to win the prestigious Presidential Color Award.

The rally is set to cover the entire circumference of Assam and begins with Dhubri. The Ride of Pride lasts eight days, covering 27 districts throughout the state, with a total distance of 2055 kilometers.

In particular, Assam Police is the tenth state police in the country that has been awarded the prestigious Presidential Color Award.
