They added that the private meeting was attended by 16 MLA members of the Commission, including Nagaland’s Prime Minister Neiphiu Rio, Raja Saba’s Pannon Konyak, and UDA Chairman TR Zelian.

Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika accompanied Mr. Sarma.

The meeting lasted until late at night, sources said.

This was the second time Mr. Salma visited Nagaland to discuss Naga’s political issues. He made his last visit to the state last September to interact with the NSCN (IM) in front of Prime Minister Rio of Nagaland.
