Health check-up camp organized for Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary forest staff

Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary forest staff are invited to a camp for health checks

Their health is vital for wildlife conservation. Aaranyak is a prominent non-profit organization in the region dedicated to biodiversity conservation. They organized a free awareness and health camp at Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary’s Range office to compliment the unpaid heroes.

The camp was attended by about 150 local frontline workers and their families. These frontline workers were given prescribed medication and tested, including blood.

A variety of top doctors from India Medical Association Guwahati Branch attended the camp. These included Dr Pritom Bothakur and Dr Arati Deb Goswami. Dr Rajiv Sharma, Dr Dilip Sarm, and Dr Rupnayan Sarma.

Nayan Jyoti, the range officer of the wildlife sanctuary gave effective support in running the health camp. Arogyam’s Diju Roy and Sun Pharma’s Hemanta Sarma assisted with the distribution of medication and blood testing, according to a press release.

Aaranyak provided raincoats and torchlights to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary.
